Families are important and the years fly by so capturing each stage of your life together is important. Life is busy so I’m here to help you document these special moments. Family sessions last about 45 minutes to 1 hour at a location of your choice (within reason of course) and include a minimum of 30 retouched, high-resolution images delivered to you in a password-protected, online gallery with a print release. The print release allows you to print your own products, prints or enlargements but I am also happy to help you with your printing needs and offer a wide array of products. Unless otherwise specified, I capture images of your family together, Mom and Dad together, individuals of your children and typically each parent with the children if time allows. All you need to bring is a positive attitude, smiles and any props you’d like for me to incorporate! If you have a vision, check with me because I may already have the prop and am happy to bring it along! A $75 deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due at the time of your session.
FAMILY SESSION
$350
Individual child portrait sessions (multiple children are treated as a family session) last about 1 hour at a location of your choice (within reason of course) and include a wardrobe change. Please bring multiple outfits if you need help picking! If your child has a favorite toy, book or other prop please bring it for us to include in the session. I deliver a minimum of 30 retouched, high-resolution images delivered to you in a password-protected, online gallery with a print release. The print release allows you to print your own products, prints or enlargements but I am also happy to help you with your printing needs and offer a wide array of products. A $75 deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due at the time of your session. You can add a cake smash for $75 - I provide the cake and balloons and an additional 10 images in your gallery.

Being a senior is a milestone! Capturing this critical stage in your life is a must! A senior session lasts about two hours at two locations of your choice (within reason of course) and includes up to five outfit changes and a minimum of 30 retouched, high-resolution images delivered to you in a password-protected, online gallery with a print release. The print release allows you to print your own products, prints or enlargements but I am also happy to help you with your printing needs and offer a wide array of products including Graduation Announcements. A $75 deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due at the time of your session.
Parents: Do you have multiples? So do we! They'e an amazing gift but expensive...not because you have more children than other families, but because you go through each stage at the same time! That's why I offer a multiples discount for senior sessions! To take advantage of this discount, all children must be photographed on the same day. I will photograph them individually and together and each child will receive their own gallery! Multiples should expect their session to last over two hours.
The first child is $550 and each additional multiple is $275.

If you’re pregnant and looking for maternity photos or you’ve already given birth to, adopted or stood beside your surrogate and are already holding that little bundle of joy (or bundles) I would love to photograph your newborn! The optimal time for NEWBORN photos is within the first 5-10 days after birth. You’re thinking “WHAT?! Is she crazy, I won’t even have my days and nights turned around by then,” but I promise it’s the best time to get the sweet poses you see flooding your Instagram or Pinterest page! Babies are the most flexible then and getting them into cute positions is easier at that stage.
I recommend scheduling your NEWBORN SESSION 1 month before your due date so I can reserve a session for you and be on standby. Babies aren’t predictable so I understand we can’t predict it to the exact date. This just allows me to reserve time on my calendar. What should you bring? Diapers, wipes, a warm blanket, milk, and a pacifier. I will provide the props (swaddle blankets, headbands, etc.), but please bring anything that has a special meaning to you. Do you travel?
Yes, while we’re located in Fredericksburg, Virginia, we will travel most anywhere! *
What does the session fee include?
Your photographer’s time, talent and travel, as well as basic retouching of all images. Professional prints or canvases are available to purchase separately. Please contact me for pricing.
Do you require a deposit/retainer fee?
Yes, a $75 deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due at the time of your session. This allows me to reserve your session time and date on my calendar. Please contact me 24-48 hours in advance if you or your child is sick and won’t be able to make your session. Even though the deposit/retainer fee is nonrefundable, a new retainer fee is not required to reschedule as long as we do so within 14 days of your session. What should I wear?
Everyone always asks, “What should I wear?” so I put together a few suggestions to help! Solids always work best because they don’t compete with your face or the background for the viewer’s attention. However, wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and represents YOUR style! You can dress everyone in the same outfit (khakis and a white polo for example) or everyone wearing the same color shirt. Solids work best BUT prints are also nice as long as you don’t overdo it! Choose 2-4 colors that work well together and use each one at least twice throughout your family.
Portraits are always a good excuse to go shopping but you can easily find something in your closet! Start with a favorite piece and build around it. For instance, if you have a favorite patterned shirt, pull the colors used within that pattern for your family to wear. You can use

Can I print photos from your website?
No, it is illegal to copy or reprint photos without my written, authorized permission. However, feel free to share any watermarked images on Facebook, etc.
What is a print release?
Permission for reproduction of images for personal use at home, while preserving the rights of the Photographer. i.e. The Photographer retains all copyright and moral rights (ownership) to the images. You, as the client, are free to print the images for personal use but you cannot alter the images without first receiving written permission from me (the Photographer).
